The California State Library is pleased to announce that the Sutro Library will be moving to a new location in spring of 2012. Genealogists, historians, and other researchers will discover that Sutro’s rich collections and resources are newly housed in a spacious, well-lit reading room designed specifically for our patrons.
Here is what you need to know:
Dates and Hours
February 1, 2012, open 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. M-F
March 12, 2012 will close for the move
May of 2012 will open in new location

1600 Holloway Avenue, San Francisco 94132
Sutro will be on the 5th and 6th Floors of the newly renovated J. Paul Leonard Library on the San Francisco State University campus.
