Library Hours and Holidays

The public service desks and reading rooms in Sacramento are open Monday through Friday, 9:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., excluding holidays.

The Sutro Library in San Francisco is open Monday through Friday, 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Beginning November 3, 2007 the Sutro Library will be open the first Saturday of each month, excluding holidays.

(2008 state holidays: Jan. 1 and 21; Feb. 12 and 18; Mar. 31; May 26; July 4-5; Sept. 1; Oct. 13; Nov. 11, 27 and 28; Dec. 25)
