Bay Area Genealogy Calendar
Welcome to the new home of the Bay Area Genealogy Calendar! A list of genealogy, family history, and local history events in the San Francisco Bay Area will be posted every month. The calendar was created and originally hosted by Stephen Danko on Steve’s Genealogy Blog and then moved to the California Genealogy Society and Library. Now it has made its way back to San Francisco, and Sutro Library is excited to be not only a physical hub of resources, but also a virtual hub for the community.
The calendar will cover events from the following counties: Marin, Sonoma, Napa, Solano, Contra Costa, Alameda, Santa Clara, San Mateo, and of course, San Francisco. If you would like to submit an event for the calendar, then please email us at sutro@library.ca.gov with the following information: title, date, time, cost (if any), location, a description, and if applicable, a link to the event. To view details about each event, just click on the event title in the calendar below and a description will pop-up. Make sure to check the calendar frequently so you don’t miss any new additions!
